Jason Brown

Co-Founder and CEO, Tally

More

After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Boston University, Jason co-founded Bask.com, which grew to be one of the largest tech support subscriptions services in the US. Next, he graduated with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, after which he co-founded the solar finance company Gen110, which was funded by KPCB in 2011 and acquired by RePower in 2013. Most recently, he co-founded Tally, an app that makes credit cards less expensive and easier to manage. Tally has secured $17M over two rounds of funding, which were led by Cowboy Ventures and Shasta Ventures respectively.

JASON’S STORY: I’ve always loved my credit cards. What I didn’t love: the inflated interest rates and hidden fees. So we created Tally to fix that. Tally lets you enjoy the rewards and convenience of your cards without the unfair APRs, costly fees, and hassle of managing multiple cards. It’s the credit card experience consumers deserve in one simple app.
