Andrew Stewart is Chief Investment Strategist for Exchange Capital Management, a fee-only financial planning firm located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He has experience managing investment portfolios for high-net-worth clients from all over the country. His work at Exchange Capital has been recognized by publications like the New York Times and Reuters.
Prior to joining Exchange Capital Management in 2017, Andrew studied Engineering at Case Western Reserve University and began his career in the non-profit sector in Boston. He later shifted his focus to the financial services industry, pursued a Master’s in Finance at Boston College, and joined John Hancock Investments. He moved back home to Michigan to join a hedged investment firm, performing due diligence and investment strategy analysis. He now leads Exchange Capital’s investment efforts.
Andrew was awarded the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Detroit. He was also awarded the designation of Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). He is a board member of the Open Hands Food Pantry, a non-profit that works to end hunger in Oakland County, Michigan.
