Undefeated 18-0 (4 KO) Heather “The Heat” Hardy receives the WBC Belt in the first televised women’s boxing match in almost 20 years. Hardy is professional boxer from Brooklyn NY and has been “fighting” for the last year to get women’s boxing the visibility it deserves on national TV. Her efforts finally paid of this past Sunday August 21, 2016 when Premier Boxing Champions and NBC Sports aired the fight, bringing women’s boxing back with the crowd on their feet chanting “Hardy” through the entire program. The historical event occurred on the same day the USA received its 2nd consecutive Olympic Gold Medal ever in boxing, both won by the same women. “This just means so much to women’s boxing — they can’t ignore us anymore” Heather Hardy.

Hardy currently holds two division WBC Champion Belts, Super bantam and Feather Weight. Heather was the first woman to be signed to a long term promotional contract to DiBella Entertainment, currently the biggest boxing promoter in NY. She is also the first woman to box professionally and be put on card at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York and now the first to be television on national television in almost 15 years.

She trains at World Famous Gleason’s Gym located in Brooklyn, New York which has been home to many boxing champions over the years. In her spare time, she is a personal boxing trainer working with celebrities and business professionals.

Six-time world surfing champion, Stephanie Gilmore, 27, was born and raised in northern New South Wales, Australia. Stephanie has dominated women’s professional surfing since she entered the scene in 2007 – winning her first world title as a rookie, followed by three consecutive world titles – an accomplishment no other surfer has achieved in the history of men’s or women’s surfing. Beyond her 6 ASP World Titles, Stephanie has 24 Elite World Tour victories.

For her triumphs, Stephanie has also been awarded both the Laureus World Sports Award in 2010, considered the most prestigious award in action sports worldwide, and the ESPN ESPY for Best Female Action Sports Athlete in 2011 and 2013. In between competitions on the World Surf League tour, Stephanie is traveling the globe, exploring new waves, cities and beaches, photographing her adventures, playing her many guitars, and living the gypset lifestyle. Stephanie is a proud MOsister in support of Movember – promoting the awareness of mens health. She works with the Couer de Foret foundation implementing water wells in Senegal, and has been a long time supporter of World Vision sponsoring children in Kenya and Ethiopia.

Sophie is Chief Executive Officer at the World Surf League—home to the world’s best athletes on the best waves. Throughout her career, she has been at the forefront of globalizing professional sports while holding leadership and commercial roles at the National Basketball Association (NBA), the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) and Rugby Football Union (RFU). While at the NBA, she guided the expansion of the league into Europe (Spain, Italy and London) and the Middle East (Turkey).
