Founder, Super Coffee

More

Jordan founded Super Coffee in his Freshman Dorm room at Philadelphia University in 2015 where he played on the Men’s basketball team. After a year of research and development, he decided to forego his full basketball scholarship to launch and build his business. In Spring 2016, Super Coffee started to gain traction in the marketplace and secured it’s initial round of Seed funding and began hiring it’s first set of outside employees. That Summer, Jordan decided to return to Philadelphia University to resume his Basketball career and studies in Business Management while his two brothers managed the day to day business operations. After his Sophomore Season, Jordan was named to the CACC All Conference team and the business continued to grow with his two older brothers and employees growing rapidly. In the Spring of 2017 Jordan was offered a position to be apart of the Peter Thiel Fellowship which grants Student-Entrepreneurs $100,000 to step away from College and focus on their Business. Jordan decided to accept this offer and once again forego his basketball scholarship to focus full time on growing the business. Since then, Super Coffee has done just that and become the #2 Bottled Coffee brand in the Country per outlet with annual revenues exceeding $10mm in just 16 short months. Their new brand, Kitu Life, inc also has evolved to create their latest Super Creamer and Super Espresso products which have quickly become two of the fastest growing products in their categories. Jordan and his brothers were recently named to the exclusive Forbes 30 under 30 list with a goal to inspire Positive energy for Positive change. Kitu Life, inc now has over 30 full time employees and more than 100 part-time members of the Positive Energy Project which is their National Brand Ambassador program. Kitu Life, Inc is expected to do $25mm in revenue in 2019.

Luke Saunders

CEO & Founder, Farmer’s Fridge

More

Luke Saunders is the founder and CEO of Farmer’s Fridge, a rapidly growing network of 300+ automated smart Fridges stocked with chef-curated, restaurant-quality salads, sandwiches, bowls and snacks.

An entrepreneur at heart, Luke ran his first business, Bears’ Bikes, as an undergraduate at Washington University in St. Louis while majoring in International Studies.

Shortly after graduating, Luke headed to New York to run a small family business focused on manufacturing specialty industrial lubricants. He later relocated to Michigan while his wife attended law school and took a role as a traveling salesman.

Regularly challenged by finding fresh food on the road, Luke arrived at the concept for Farmer’s Fridge: good health starts with what we eat and eating well shouldn’t be hard. Drawing on his entrepreneurial experience, Luke set out to build a disruptive yet simple way to make fresh, healthy food as accessible as a candy bar.

Today, Farmer’s Fridge operates in locations across Chicago, Milwaukee and Indianapolis, including O’Hare International Airport, Chicago’s famed Willis Tower and the University of Chicago. The company has been featured in The Atlantic, Entrepreneur, Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Chicago Tribune, Crain’s, USA Today, NBC Nightly News, Women’s Health and O! Magazine. Luke was featured on the Forbes “30 Under 30” list in 2016 and named one of Crain’s “40 under 40” in 2018 and Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business 2019. He lives in Chicago with his wife and sons.
