Rabia Qari is SVP of Marketing & Sales at Tough Mudder, where she has spent the last 5.5 years growing the Tough Mudder brand and community around the world. As part of her role, she oversees a team of 20+ across brand strategy, customer acquisition and retention, local marketing, content marketing, PR, customer service, revenue management and corporate sales. Prior to Tough Mudder, Rabia completed her MBA at Wharton in 2013.

Brendan Eich is the co-founder and CEO of Brave Software (https://brave.com/), a start-up that aims to transform the online ad ecosystem with faster and safer browsing, as well as micropayments and better ads to give users and publishers a better deal. Eich previously served as CTO, then CEO of the Mozilla Corporation. Prior to that, he co-founded the Mozilla project and foundation. While at Mozilla, Eich helped launch the award-winning Firefox web browser. Eich is also the inventor of JavaScript, the Internet’s most widely used programming language.

Linyun Yang is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. In her research, she explores how consumers make inferences about other people, brands, and products based on superficial characteristics. Recent projects have examined how a woman’s beauty work can shape perceptions of her moral character and how a company’s size shapes consumers’ expectations of its warmth. While she currently teaches Consumer Behavior to undergraduate and MBA students, she has also taught International Marketing to MBAs and the Marketing Strategy undergraduate capstone course. Prof Yang received her BS in Biopsychology and Cognitive Sciences from the University of Michigan and her PhD in Marketing from Duke University.
