Professor Nave’s research uses a medley of quantitative and experimental methods from the fields of Computational Neuroscience, Cognitive Psychology, Game Theory, and Machine Learning, for reverse-engineering the decision-making process in humans.

Nave’s research was published in top academic journals such as Science, Proceedings of the National Academy of Science, Management Science, and Journal of Marketing Research.

Nave holds a PhD in Computation & Neural Systems from Caltech. He completed his B.Sc and M.Sc in Electrical Engineering at the Technion – Israel institute of technology, specializing in Signal Processing.

He is an award-winning composer, producer, and arranger, as well as the founder of Man Made Music, a strategic sound and music studio. He is the author of “THE SONIC BOOM: How Sound Transforms the Way We Think, Feel, and Buy.”

Interweaving music, strategy, and popular culture, Beckerman is dedicated to telling compelling stories and impacting our everyday experiences with music and sound. For this work, Fast Company magazine has honored him on its list of Most Creative People in Business 1000. Beckerman has, with his team, created original scores for over 50 television series and specials, including the Super Bowl on NBC, “Entertainment Tonight,” ESPN Films’ “30 for 30,” and “Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations.” His work can be found across most major networks, including HBO, FX, NBC, and A&E. He has been named one of ASCAP’s Most Performed Themes and Underscore composers for the past ten years.

By translating brand strategy into sonic strategy, Beckerman and his company have developed unique and signature sonic branding programs for global giants such as Disney, Mercedes, AT&T, IMAX, and Southwest Airlines. Geoff Cottrill joined The Coca-Cola Company on March 1, 2018 as Senior Vice President Strategic Marketing. Geoff leads integrated marketing strategy across creative content, media planning and investment, marketing capability, digital, marketing assets and entertainment, music and gaming in the United States. He is also responsible for building and maintaining partnerships while leading communications programs that drive integrating messaging across portfolio of brands.

He rejoins The Coca-Cola Company after most recently serving as President of the advertising and media agency MullenLowe in Boston.

Prior to that, Geoff spent eight years as the General Manager and Chief Marketing Officer at Converse (Nike Inc.) where he and his team led the brand during a period of unprecedented growth, resulting in the Chuck Taylor All Star becoming the #1 selling sneaker in the world. Geoff also spent three years at Starbucks, as Vice President ~ Product Development & Marketing for Starbucks Entertainment.

This is Geoff’s second term with Coca-Cola. He worked for the company from 1996 to 2005 and was Group Director, Worldwide, Entertainment Marketing.

Geoff has had a personal passion for music since the age of 13 when he used to sell fountain Cokes at Tampa Stadium so he could get into see rock concerts. He is Chair of the Grammy Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving music education and music preservation.

He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Florida State University.

Geoff, his wife, Allie, and their two daughters, Abby and Claire, are excited to return to Atlanta.
