Kristin Hildebrand

Founder, WONE

WONE was created by Kristin Hildebrand, an ex-Nike, Creative director/Fashion industry veteran.

Kristin was courted by Nike to develop what is now called the “Brand Experience” team, which consists of 30 of the highest level creatives in the company. The team strategically identified growth opportunities across the brand and executed a high level proposition back to senior leadership for discussion and implementation. In her eight years with the company, Kristin is proud to call the new function she created at Nike her greatest corporate strategic achievement.

While at Nike, Kristin worked with countless celebrities and athletes including Kanye West, Christiano Ronaldo, LeBron James and others to execute product/collection concepts and to amplify these collections at key retail moments.

During her time at Nike, Kristin worked on the 2014 and 2018 World Cup, The Nike Brand Launch of the NBA, the Summer and Winter Olympics, and the US Open. Working full time at Nike, Kristin fell in love with the benefits of meditation and wanted to share the practice with others. She likened the mindfulness movement to that of the yoga movement and identified it as a larger opportunity in the making. She believed that meditation needed to be taught in an approachable, secular format, an inviting space that brought together a like-minded community. She began her own Meditation studio and called the brand HUSH Meditation.

Prior to Nike, Kristin lead the creative team at RVCA in Costa Mesa, California. Working with the company’s founder, Kristin developed and executed strategic partnerships that helped launch the brand into a leadership role in the actions sports market and opened premium wholesale/retail accounts while subsequently increasing overall margins. Most notably Kristin was responsible for the famed Erin Wasson x RVCA collection.

While working full time at RVCA, Kristin started a fashion/lifestyle blog called Bleachblack.com. The website became so popular and boasted such a large following that the blog was one of the first to partner with brands to collaborate on product. The blog received numerous awards, PR recognition, and with this, Kristin was able to successfully test out a variety of different product launches.

Prior to RVCA, Kristin was the youngest design director Liz Claiborne/C&C had ever hired and was the only graduate from FIDM hired by Mossimo/Target.

To date, Kristin has been courted by Adidas, Under Armour, Lululemon, and Outdoor Voices to run their women’s programs.
