Adele Oliva has decades of finance and healthcare experience, including 20 years in private equity focused on commercial stage specialty pharmaceutical, medical technology, and healthcare service investments. Adele co-founded 1315 Capital in 2014 to establish a firm focused on healthcare growth investing. She was recruited to Quaker Partners in 2007 to expand their growth stage investing practice. Prior to Quaker, Adele was Co-Head of US Healthcare at Apax Partners, where she started in 1997.

Forbes recognized Adele on its Midas List of top 100 technology investors worldwide, top 10 life science investors, and top women in venture capital. In 2016, Adele was recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal as part of the Power 76 list of the region’s most influential people. Prior to entering private equity as a Kauffman Fellow, Adele held roles at CoreStates and Baxter Healthcare. Adele received a BSc from St. Joseph’s University and an MBA from Cornell University, where she was awarded the Albert Fried Fellowship.

Adele has served on the board of Ascent Healthcare Solutions (acquired by Stryker), EKR Therapeutics (acquired by Cornerstone Therapeutics), ESP Pharma (acquired by Protein Design Labs), Esprit Pharma (acquired by Allergan), Precision Dermatology (acquired by Valeant), Prometheus Labs (acquired by Nestle), and SkinMedica (acquired by Allergan). She currently serves on the boards of Colorescience, Genoptix, Innovative Health, NovaSom, Onkos Surgical, and TELA Bio.

Camille Samuels

Partner, Venrock


Camille Samuels is a Partner at Venrock, a venture capital firm originally established in the late 1960s as the venture arm of the Rockefeller family. Her investment interests span early-stage biotech to medical devices to consumer health. For instance, she serves on the board of directors of Unity biotech, a healthspan and longevity company.

Prior to Venrock, Cami spent over a decade as a Managing Director at Versant Ventures, a leading life sciences venture capital firm. While at Versant, Cami seeded Kythera (makers of Kybella) and served on the company’s board through its IPO and eventual sale to Allergan for $2.1 B. In addition, she served as a board member or a board observer on many other innovative healthcare companies including Achaogen (AKAO), Carmenta (acq. by Progenity), Fluidigm (FLDM), Genomic Health (GHDX), Novacardia (acquired by Merck), ParAllele (acq. by Affymetrix), and Syrrx (acq. by Takeda).

Annie Lamont

Annie Lamont has more than 30 years of experience as a venture capitalist investing in transformative companies and entrepreneurs.

In 2014, Annie, along with Patricia Kemp and Andrew Adams, launched Oak HC/FT, a venture capital fund investing in early to growth stage tech-enabled companies shaping the future of healthcare information and financial services. Prior to founding Oak HC/FT, Annie served as a Managing Partner at Oak Investment Partners.

Annie has been ranked as a top healthcare and fintech investor on the Forbes Midas List, a Top 100 Venture Capitalist by CB Insights and The New York Times and recognized as a top fintech investor by Institutional Investor’s FinTech Finance 40 ranking. She was also the inaugural recipient of the National Venture Capital Association’s award for Excellence in Healthcare Innovation. She also serves on the board of HCA, and previously served on the Stanford Board of Trustees. Annie received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Stanford University.
