Michael is the Mid-Atlantic Executive Director for the Consumer Energy Alliance and Strategic Advisor to HBW Resources, LLC. Through these roles, Mike primarily advocates for state and national “all of the above” energy strategies. In this capacity, he was named to Pennsylvania Governor Wolf’s Pipeline and Infrastructure Task Force. Michael has spent the 14 years working in politics and government. His extensive campaign work includes local and statewide races. Most notably, he worked on Bob Casey’s successful election to the United States Senate in 2006. He returned to serve as Senator Casey’s Finance Director for his re-election in 2012. His work on the campaign was recognized by PoliticsPA list of Top Operatives. Additionally, he has served as a senior staff member/advisor on 2 gubernatorial races in Pennsylvania; as well as city council campaigns, county judicial campaigns, and a statewide judicial campaign.
He has also served as a government relations consultant for Brownsville Area Revitalization Corporation, The Efficiency Network, Three + One Advisors, and Tube City Renaissance.
Michael resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He holds a B.A. from Dickinson College and a JD/MPIA from the University of Pittsburgh.
