Equally adept in the board room as in the operating room, in quantitative financial modeling as in reconstructive surgery, Dr. Charles K. Herman is a seasoned senior medical executive, entrepreneur, and award-winning researcher, author, and plastic surgeon. Well-versed in the business of healthcare, Dr. Herman serves in a senior medical executive role in Northeastern Pennsylvania’s largest health system and has served as Chair of its Foundation Board and Secretary of its Management Board. He has served as a consultant and advisor to several private equity, venture capital, medical consulting and management companies, being involved in all phases of multiple biotechnology and medical device startups’ life cycles, as well as in provider services and healthcare IT investments and his own startups. Dr. Herman graduated in the top of his class as a Palmer Scholar with an MBA with Honors at The Wharton School of Business.
