Lori L. Tharps is a content creator who thrives at the intersection of race and pop culture.

An associate professor of journalism at Temple University, Tharps is an award-winning author, journalist, blogger, podcast host and popular speaker. She has written for publications including, Ms., Glamour, The Columbia Journalism Review, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The New York Times, and The Root.com.

Currently Tharps lives in Philadelphia with her husband and three children. She is (almost) fluent in Spanish and can say I love you in seven languages.
