Tonya Adkins

Product Marketing Director, GlaxoSmithKline

Tonya Adkins has nearly 15 years of experience at GlaxoSmithKline in multiple roles across sales, training, and marketing in various business units. In her current role, she is a Product Marketing Manager who is responsible for helping to develop and implement strategy and tactics for the pediatric portfolio vaccines through multiple channels. Prior to working for GSK, Tonya worked as a Contracts Manager at a national staffing firm for 5 years. Whether it is launching a product that brings value to our customers and patients or helping someone find that perfect job, being able to work in roles that have a positive impact on people is important to her. Tonya says her main purpose in life is serving others in the community. She believes that we all can make a difference by giving back, and one of the best ways to give back includes empowering others with both the belief in themselves and skills needed to make a difference in their own lives. Tonya says that she feels lucky everyday to work for such a wonderful company like GSK where she is able combine her love for helping others while at work and partner with exciting organizations like GenHERation.
