Professor Susan M. Wachter is the Richard B. Worley Professor of Financial Management at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, the Director for the Wharton GeoSpatial Initiative and Lab, and the co-director of the Penn Institute for Urban Research. She also co-directs Penn’s Spatial Integration Laboratory for Urban Systems As an economist, she is frequently sought for comment on real estate market trends in well known media outlets. She has previously served as Assistant Secretary for Policy Development and Research with the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, among other leadership roles.

Bob Lane is a partner at the law firm of Stevens & Lee, practicing commercial real estate law, and is an Adjunct Professor teaching Real Estate Law and Transactions at the Wharton School. He is nationally recognized in all aspects of commercial real estate development, acquisitions and financing, with over 30 years of experience representing a wide variety of companies, large and small, in diverse industries, as well as major real estate developers, syndicators and REITs.
