Sam ChandanSam Chandan

Dr. Sam Chandan is Founder of Chandan Economics, a leading commercial real estate data and research firm, the Laurence and Susan Hirsch Adjunct Associate Professor of Real Estate at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and Partner and Global Head of Strategy at Capri Capital Partners, a Chicago-based investment group with $4 billion in assets under management across the United States, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Dr. Chandan is the Economist Larueate of the Real Estate Lenders Association as well as an opinion columnist for the New York Observer and GlobeSt. He is the editor of Real Estate Financing, published by PEI, and author of more than a dozen articles in peer-reviewed practitioner journals. Multi Housing News Magazine has named him one of the commercial real estate industry’s most influential people.

Susan WachterSusan Wachter

Professor Susan M. Wachter is the Richard B. Worley Professor of Financial Management at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, the Director for the Wharton GeoSpatial Initiative and Lab, and the co-director of the Penn Institute for Urban Research. She also co-directs Penn’s Spatial Integration Laboratory for Urban Systems As an economist, she is frequently sought for comment on real estate market trends in well known media outlets. She has previously served as Assistant Secretary for Policy Development and Research with the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, among other leadership roles.

Bob Lane is a partner at the law firm of Stevens & Lee, practicing commercial real estate law, and is an Adjunct Professor teaching Real Estate Law and Transactions at the Wharton School. He is nationally recognized in all aspects of commercial real estate development, acquisitions and financing, with over 30 years of experience representing a wide variety of companies, large and small, in diverse industries, as well as major real estate developers, syndicators and REITs. Bob's clients have included many Fortune 500 companies; national real estate companies; and a Congressionally chartered U.S. Government lending institution. He lectures and writes extensively on such subjects as commercial leasing, zoning and land use, boundary law, real estate taxation, real estate development and the negotiation and structuring of international transactions.
